Nice record from NASA about our research on landslide

As Dille et al. (2022) point out, the large, slow-moving landslide in the Funu neighborhood of Bukavu (eastern DRC) is accelerating, putting a community at risk. Building on this GeoRiskA team research, a team of international researchers, including one from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has combined satellite and archival imagery to show how one African city’s changing water usage influences land movements near and just below the surface.
