Meet the Kivu Citizen Observers!
The next geo-webinar will take place on Friday 26th January at 12.30pm (Belgian time), via the Teams platform. If you wish to attend, do no hesitate to send an email at caroline.michellier(a)africamuseum.be.
The Kivu Citizen Observers will report on their activities to collect data and raise awareness of natural disasters in their communities in the provinces of North and South Kivu (DRC). This group of about 20 Congolese Civil Protection representatives, coordinated by the Centre de Recherche en Sciences Naturelles (CRSN) in Lwiro and Civil Protection, is active within the framework of the RMCA's HARISSA project and will be online live from Goma to answer all your questions.
A 20-minute presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. This geowebinar will be given in French (questions can be asked in English and will be translated simultaneously).
